Legal Administrative Specialists work in legal settings such as law firms and courts as well as state, local and federal government. They provide support to legal teams and ensure legal offices run smoothly. You will learn the fundamentals of the legal field including legal terminology, client confidentiality and various elements of the law. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job growth in the legal administration profession is projected to increase by 18 percent through the year 2018. This is a great time to pursue a career in this exciting, expanding profession.

Program Schedule:
Full Time Evenings:; Monday-Thursday Face-to-Face teaching (you must be present in class, on campus)
5:00pm to 9:00pm

You MUST fulfill 15 hours of online work per week.
Industry Certifications Available:
Completing students will be eligible to take the following certification exams:
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) - Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- State of Florida Ready to Work
Degree College Credit Transfer Opportunity:
Upon completion of the program and meeting eligibility requirements, students may be awarded up to 25 college credits toward an A.S. Degree by Broward College or up to 21 credits by other selected Florida Community Colleges. See counselor for additional information.
