Administrative Office Specialists perform a number of tasks that assist an executive or other professional.  The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that the demand for administrative office specialist will increase by 15 percent through 2016, resulting in the creation of 239,000 new jobs.  This is an excellent time to pursue a career in this area.  Administrative Office Specialist is a blended instruction course that includes in-class and on-line learning activities.

Information Technology Assistant

Total Program Length:  1050 Hours/Approximately 10 months to completion at Full Time.

Program Schedule:
Full TimeEvenings: Monday - Thursday Face-to-Face teaching (you must be present in class, on campus)
5:-00 pm- 9:00 pm

PLUS

You MUST fulfill 15 hours of online work per week.

Industry Certifications Available:
Completing students will be eligible to take the following certification exams:

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) - Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access
  • Project A+
  • State of Florida Ready to Work

Degree College Credit Transfer Opportunity:

Upon completion of the program and meeting eligibility requirements, students may be awarded up to 21 college credits toward an A.S. Degree by Broward College or up to 21 credits by other selected Florida Community Colleges.
